Tumbling
DynaMights!!
This is our tumbling class for 4 and 5 year olds. The focus will be on cartwheels, roundoffs, handstands, back walkovers, BHS drills and BHS training. Front Tumbling drills and training. Lots of floor exercise work, tumbletrak, and pit training. Age appropriate conditioning to increase upper body, leg strength and flexibility. Age appropriate drill stations and goals.
Students in our tumbling program have chosen to focus on the most popular of the Olympic events, floor exercise. For the majority of our tumbling students, the desire is eventually to learn a back-handspring, therefore the classes are focused on that. A solid progressional curriculum is supported by skill cards and home poster documentation. Progressing from a cartwheel to a back-handspring involves patience and strength. We pride ourselves in helping our tumblers to reach their goals, with correct form, in the fastest manner possible.
